Upon returning to London, he tried selling paper-wrapped sugared almonds with little success. One night, as he listened to the snaps and pops of his fireplace, inspiration struck: what if the treats could crackle like the fire when opened? This idea sparked the creation of a timeless Christmas tradition. Crackers evolved from simple treats to notes, and finally to the trinket-filled, paper-wrapped, popping cardboard tubes we know today. Crackers are not only a perfect addition to your holiday celebrations but also to everyday parties and special occasions.
